Fall 2020 Deadlines

Friday, September 11, 3 pm
FINAL DEADLINE for you to add H196A or H196B to your class schedule on CalCentral, so be sure all your paperwork has been filled out and you've come into the UAO before 3 pm to get your course control number!

Deadline for registration and presentation upload for poster session presenters.

Honors Thesis Approval Form and Thesis Paper due to Clara Ng-Quinn (Fall MCB H196B only). Virtual submission instructions will be emailed. 

Spring 2021 Deadlines

Registration opened for honors symposia and the poster session. 
Friday, March 5, 3 pm
Application deadline for symposium and poster session. Applications must be submitted online by 3 pm.

Monday, March 22 The UAO will inform all of you who considered for the symposia the results. Those of you who are not selected for the symposium will present at the Honors Poster Session, April 12.

Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Symposium presenters must have submitted presentation to Clara. Sign up for a symposium prep appointment (times provided by Clara TBD) and be prepared to test your presentation (PowerPoint of Keynote only) during your appointment over zoom.

Cell & Developmental Biology Symposium presenters and Genetics, Genomics, & Development Symposium presenters must have submitted & tested presentation in the UAO. Bring it to the office on a memory stick (PowerPoint of Keynote only) during your appointment.

Resume or CV from student due by 4pm: submit to google form (Clara will send in future)
Friday, May 7
Recommended deadline to turn in your completed thesis to your PI and your MCB faculty sponsor. Note that you do not need to turn in a copy to the UAO by this date (see next deadline).
Friday, May 14
Final deadline to turn in your completed thesis and Honors Thesis Approval Form due to Clara Ng-Quinn, via google form (link emailed out)
