The following fund sources are available to MCB Graduate students who wish to attend professional conferences. Conferences are a wonderful way to meet scientists in your field, to hear about new research, and to present your own research.

MCB Travel Grants

All MCB graduate students are eligible to receive a total of two departmental travel awards during their graduate career. In order to receive a travel award you must be presenting a talk or poster at a professional meeting or conference. Applications should be submitted prior to travel occuring. Travel funds are limited to $350 per trip and will be reimbursed after travel is complete and receipts are submitted to the Graduate Affairs Office.

Travel grant applications are submitted online on a rolling basis and reviewed monthly by the Head Graduate Adviser and GAO. Funding notifications will be sent at the beginning of each month.
