Integrative Biology PhD candidate, Dawson lab
Assistant Professor of Neurobiology Yvette Fisher was recently named as a recipient of the 2022 Klingenstein-Simons Fellowship Award in Neuroscience. This award, from Klingenstein Philanthropies, supports early career investigators engaged in basic or clinical research that may lead to a better understanding of neurological and psychiatric disorders.
Associate Professor of Cell Biology, Development and Physiology, Polina Lishko, was honored as one of the 2022 Great Immigrants by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. This award celebrates the contributions of immigrants to American life whose actions have enriched and strengthened our society and our democracy.
Samantha Lewis, Assistant Professor of Cell Biology, Development and Physiology, has received the 2022 Rennie Fund for the Study of Epilepsy from The Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute (HWNI).
Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Structural Biology Eunyong Park was named one of the 2022-2023 Hellman Fellows for his project entitled "How do plants make chloroplasts? ––mechanistic study of chloroplast protein import”.
