Assistant Professor of Cell Biology, Development and Physiology, Samantha Lewis, received the R.R. Bensley Award in Cell Biology from the American Association of Anatomists (AAA). This award recognizes early-career investigators who have made important contributions to biomedical science through their research.

Congratulations to MCB alumnus Rafael Rivera-Lugo (PhD 2022, Portnoy Lab) for being named a 2023 Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award recipient. This award from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center recognizes exceptional achievement in graduate studies in the biological sciences.
