• Dante Acenas II (BA 2018) is currently a research technician at UCSF in the Anderson lab umbrella.
 

• Vida Ahyong (Postdoc 2018) is a scientist in the Rapid Response team at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, training scientists in new techniques and technology to identify infectious pathogens around the world.

• Derek Chiang (PhD 2005) started a new job as vice president of Biomedical Data Science at Bayer and is hoping to visit Bayer’s manufacturing site in Berkeley, once pandemic travel restrictions are lifted.
 
• Edward Glasscock (PhD 2005) is an associate professor and C. Vincent Prothro Endowed Chair in Biological Sciences at Southern Methodist University.
• Roshni Kasad (PhD 2010) is a senior director of College Pathways for AI4ALL, a nonprofit that opens doors to the artificial intelligence industry for historically excluded talent through education and mentorship.
 
• Andrew Lane (Postdoc 2016) is a machine-learning engineer at Square.
• Adrián Miranda (BA 2021) is a co-founder of Impact Food, a plant-based seafood startup started in collaboration with the UC Berkeley Center of Entrepreneurship & Technology.
 
• Nikolin Oberleitner (Postdoc 2020) is a senior scientist at Ribbon Biolabs in Vienna, Austria.
 
• Robert Potter (BA 2015) is a clinical and public health microbiology fellow at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine.
 
• Alex Sabogal (BA 2001, PhD 2010) is a scientist of process development at Bolt Biotherapeutics where he used his purification background to help develop downstream and conjugation processes for Bayer and now Bolt.
• Elizabeth Shank (PhD 2004) is an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School whose research is focused on understanding the interactions of microbes with each other and their host
 
• Katie Sieverman (PhD 2017) is a science content manager at Actively Learn, a digital curriculum that drives student engagement and equity through deeper learning.
 
• Emily Stoops (Postdoc 2018) is a scientist at Calico Life Sciences.
 
• Sarah Tegen (PhD 2002) is the senior vice president of the Journals Publishing Group at the American Chemical Society.  She maintains strategic, operational, and fiscal oversight of the Society's 75+ hybrid and open-access journals as well as responsibility for strategy development in China and India.
