Q. What aspects of your MCB degree program best helped you prepare for your career?
A. My time at Berkeley MCB, surrounded by many of world's best scientific innovators and academics as my professors, sparked my initial interest in biotech. My experience at Berkeley MCB and working in a MCB lab as a student made me decide to further pursue a PhD.
Q. How did you decide on your current career path?
A. During my time in my PhD program, I realized that I loved the constant opportunity to learn about different areas of therapeutic innovation. I worked with a few healthcare focused venture firms as a grad student, and I really enjoyed the interactions I had with scientists, doctors, founders, entrepreneurs, and more. I was perpetually learning about different disease areas and new drug modalities which was truly remarkable.
Q. Share your favorite Berkeley lunch place, coffee shop, landmark study spot...etc.
A. Hard to name just one! Imm Thai, Brazil Cafe, and Tacos Sinaloa to name a few.
