Q. What aspects of your MCB degree program best helped you prepare for your career?
A. Learning from incredible professors sparked my interest in clinical neuroscience. Pursuing the honors thesis program allowed me to delve into my own project and connect with other peers doing research.
Q. How did you decide on your current career path?
A. It’s been a lifelong dream to go to medical school. Taking classes through MCB honed my interest further and pointed me to neuroscience/neurology. I spent my 2 gap years researching Alzheimer’s genetics, which was largely inspired by my upper-division coursework in the MCB neuro track.
