Q. What aspects of your MCB degree program best helped you prepare for your career?

A. I appreciated the wide variety and depth of courses that I took to better understand the state of the field and discover my interests, as well as the fantastic research opportunities that allowed me to gain exposure to the world of research early on in my academic career.

Q. How did you decide on your current career path?

A. My research experience in Berkeley labs led me to continue pursuing a degree in research in order to continue pursuing those same questions which I found so fascinating. Berkeley MCB introduced me to the vast world of the scientific unknown which I can't wait to help solve, bit by bit.

Q. Share your favorite Berkeley lunch place, coffee shop, landmark study spot...etc.

A. Bring lunch to eat at the Pacific School of Religion sometime! It's close to campus and has a beautiful view of the Bay.
