Studies on the Bursting Kinetics of even-skipped Transcription
Augusto plans to pursue a postdoc with the final goal of becoming a professor at a research institution as he enjoys scientific pursuit and would like to share the beauty of research with others. Particularly, Augusto is eager to advocate to increase the presence of people from underrepresented backgrounds, like himself, in STEM fields. Outside of his scientific pursutis, he has been gathering data from civil records of 19th and early 20th century Mexico, focusing on the how the 1918 influenza pandemic affected rural communities in central Mexico.
