Faculty
Our program is connected to the MCB department's world-renowned faculty, who lead labs performing cutting-edge research covering a wide range of modern fields. The broader MCB department is subdivided into more focused divisions that encourage community and collaboration between labs. Faculty often are affiliated with multiple divisions within MCB and maintain connections with other departments on campus.
These divisions cover:

Biochemistry, biophysics & structural biology (BBS)

Cell biology, development & physiology (CDP)

Genetics, genomics, evolution, and development (GGED)

Immunology and molecular medicine (IMM)

Molecular therapeutics (MTx)

Neurobiology (NEU)
NEU is now it's own department. Some faculty continue to be affiliated with MCB.
A number of MCB faculty are closely involved with the master's program. They include:
Professor of Cell Biology, Development and Physiology
Professor of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Structural Biology
Assistant Professor of Cell Biology, Development and Physiology
Executive Director, Molecular Therapeutics Initiative
Adj. Professor of Molecular Therapeutics
HHMI Investigator, Professor of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Structural Biology
