Schekman Capstone Seminar Video Available

In academic year 2014-15, three Divisions of MCB (Biochemistry, Biophysics and Structural Biology; Cell and Developmental Biology and Genetics, Genomics and Development) implemented a joint seminar series. The organizers also began a new tradition of having one of our own distinguished faculty as the final speaker in the Fall Semester. Given his many contributions to MCB and the campus, and his receipt of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Howard Hughes Investigator and Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology Randy Schekman was selected to inaugurate this special Capstone Seminar, which was delivered on December 12, 2014. The seminar, titled "Sorting of proteins and miRNA for unconventional secretion", is available for viewing below.
