Karl recently accepted a postdoc position at Genentech and eventually plans start up his own lab one day. Personally he'd like to start a family and enjoy re-establishing connections with people he's lost touch with, whether that be with family or friends, near and far. Karl is passionate about science, especially all things immunology. If you can't find him in a lab, you can find him near or in an ocean, a local bar or restaurant, or exploring our world.
