MCB 180: Lab Intern Course Spring 2025

OverviewThis is a 2 unit course assisting with laboratory instruction. As a Bio1AL intern, you will team up with a lab instructor to help teach one of the lab sections. Responsibilities will include helping with lesson preparation, presenting a portion of the lab introduction, and overseeing/providing guidance to students during lab experimentation. |

Application and SelectionStudents interested must add to the waitlist for the MCB 180 course (Class Nbr 22081), and submit the online application form linked below to be considered for selection. Candidates who submit the application form but are not on the waitlist by Tuesday January 14th (one day into the Adjustment Period) may be passed over and others selected. Those selected will be notified, and will be enrolled from the waitlist before the start of classes. The MCB 180 course is officially scheduled only for the Monday Instructor’s Meeting time 6:30-9:30 pm. The specific lab time assignments will be determined based upon the available times slelected candidates submit and based upon our need to fill all lab section slots. Note: the first Instructor’s Meeting for Spring 2025 is
scheduled on Monday
January 27th 6:30-9:30pm and it is mandatory.
All participants will be requied to complete training as detailed in our Required Training for Lab Interns. First application review will be 01/13/2025 ![]() |
