Since you have not yet completed one semester of General Chemistry, you cannot yet have your prerequisite completion confirmed.

If you are enrolled/enrolling in the Chem 1A and 1AL courses in the UC Berkeley Summer Session 2014, this will be checked and noted to confirm your grade in the class after the term has ended.

If you are enrolled/enrolling in a equivalent General Chemistry courses at another school which will be completed before the Fall 2014 Semester begins, you must contact Erol Kepkep, the Enrollment Coordinator, at bio1a-enrollment@berkeley.edu to explain your situation. If you do not do so, you could be dropped from enrollment at any time prior to the beginning of beginning of classes.

You may proceed with enrollment in the classes at this time. You will be normally enrolled until your organic chemistry grade can be confirmed.

If you pass Chem 1A/1AL (or the equivalent) with a C- or better, you will be confirmed to remain enrolled.

If the grade you receive is found to be less than a C-, you will be dropped from enrollment in the Biology 1A /1AL courses before instruction begins.
