Since you have not completed the required General Chemistry courses here at UCB, there is no way for us to easily confirm your qualifications for enrollment even if you have already transferred credit here from another school or an equivalency exam and received course credit approval.

To confirm your qualification, you must submit proof to Erol Kepkep, the Enrollment Coordinator, at bio1a-enrollment@berkeley.edu. The proof may be a scan or screen shot of a transcript or exam score showing the completion of the equivalent to the organic chemistry class.

You may proceed with enrollment in the classes, but you must send the required proof of prerequisite completion as soon as possible.

If proof of qualification is not provided, you could be dropped from enrollment in the classes at any time.
