Research

I received my B.S. from Georgetown University in 2014 where I investigated the role of a protein in the autophagosomal pathway in melanocytes.  After graduating, I worked in the lab of Dr. Richard Axel researching representations of olfactory information in the Drosophila brain and developing a new method of measuring neuronal activity. As a doctoral student in the Dillin lab, I am working with Ashley Frakes to understand how the nervous system communicates protein stress across tissues.
