Nazineen Kandahari

Laboratory Assistant

I received my bachelor’s degrees in Molecular & Cell Biology and Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017. During my undergraduate studies, I began researching under the mentorship of Dr. Ashley Frakes. I am interested in the role of brain cells in the processes of aging and longevity. Specifically, I am exploring the cell-nonautonomous mechanisms of the ER unfolded protein response in regulating protein homeostasis across tissues.
