No "make-up" exams or early or late final exams. Missed exams excused only with documented serious illness. Excused absence requires completion of that exam by the next class meeting. Grade assigned will be the lesser of the actual score or the score based on the average relative standing in the class. (E.g., a student scoring 1.1 times class average on exams taken gets a score for the missed exam equal to 1.1 times the average on that exam unless the graded exam score is lower.)
