Did you know MCB has 5 different emphases to choose from? Confused about which one to declare? Take advantage of this exciting opportunity, and join us for an inside look at the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) Division of MCB. There will be a panel of BMB faculty and advisors, and current BMB students, who will help answer some of your questions, such as:
* What distinguishes BMB from the other emphases in the MCB major?
* What kind of research is going on in this specific field?
* How will study in BMB prepare me for medical school, graduate
school, or working in a biotech company?
* What are the required courses and what are they like?
* What are the pro's and con's of the two different tracks in the
BMB emphasis?
* How do I decide whether or not BMB is the right choice for me?
* What are the differences between BMB track 1 and BMB track 2 and
how do I prepare for them?
This evening event is the perfect chance to get to know Biochemistry professors in a casual setting outside of the lecture hall, as well as to meet current BMB students and other new interested students. Come join us for a night of information, conversation, and FREE FOOD! |
