The Undergraduate Program in MCB

The undergraduate major in Molecular and Cell Biology encompasses the diversity of scientific interests of the department's faculty. There are five emphases to choose from: Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Cell & Developmental Biology, Genetics, Genomics & Development, Immunology & Pathogenesis, and Neurobiology. Students majoring in any of these emphases have been highly successful in entering graduate or medical school and in other science- and health-related careers

 


Staff advisors are available all summer to help you plan for the upcoming semesters. Any changes in our office schedule will be posted here.

  • The UAO will be closed on May 23, 2012. 
  • The office will be open 9-12n on May 24-25, 2012 for general inquiries, however MCB advisors will be unavailable.

Important Change to Summer 2012 Schedule: Biology 1A/1AL will NOT be offered summer 2012. Please visit us in the UAO to discuss alternative plans if you had intended to take this course over the summer.
