Getting actively involved in your educational interests is important to your academic success. Undergraduates are very active in the MCB department. There are two department funded student organizations: MCBUSA (Undergraduate Student Association) and MCBcDNA (Cell & Developmental/Neurobiology Association). Both groups work independently and with the MCB UAO to publish newsletters, plan interesting tours, workshops & events, and assist the department in undergraduate programs such as the Undergraduate Poster Session, the Undergraduate Research Symposia, and commencement. Whether you want to be on the executive committee, volunteer, or just participate in one of their events, MCBcDNA and MCBUSA are glad to have you.
