Phase Transitions in Nuclear Organization and Function

Amy will be pursuing a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the lab of Cliff Brangwynne, Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at Princeton University, where she will use a new technology that allows inducible reorganization of the genome to study how compartmentalization of sequences into functional spaces affects development and disease. She's on a path toward a career in academia and would love to be a professor at a large research institution.

Amy is passionate about making science education accessible to all people, and promoting mentorship and wellness. When she's not in the lab, Amy is working on learning to play ukulele and sail small boats and loves exploring California's land and sea through hiking, camping and scuba diving.
