Assistant Professor of Genetics, Genomics and Development Nicole King is on the "20 under 40" list of the "Best Brain in Science" in the December 2008 issue of Discover magazine.
Discover searched the country for the top 50 scientists who "share ... a commitment to the most potent cause of the modern age: scientific truth" and "are making the most important contributions to American science." Among this group were twenty of the next generation of scientists under the age of 40, including Dr. King.
