Our community sadly lost a pillar on Friday, January 22, 2021, when Nilabh Shastri, PhD, passed away. Shastri was a Professor at UC Berkeley from 1987–2018 and a cornerstone of the immunology community. He served as MCB Immunology and Pathogenesis Division Head from 2010–2015, was a gifted and dedicated teacher and will be remembered for his kind spirit and generous nature.
