About the Storeroom
Serving the entire UC Berkeley campus, we carry an extensive selection of chemicals, enzymes, labware, and office supplies. Our mission is to provide the lowest possible prices on frequently used items.
We carry a large variety of items from select vendors, many of whom offer us special pricing and discounts, including free shipping, which we pass on to our valued customers.
We can place special orders for items we do not stock from any of our vendors.
We are a self-serve facility open to UC Berkeley customers from all departments. Click here to apply for a storeroom account.

Rainin Pipet-Lite XLS--extremely cheap.
Rainin has recently discontinued its Pipet-Lite series, and replaced it with Pipet-Lite XLS.
They're still giving us an awesome deal, though. These will cost $226.20 here--roughly half off the original price!

New Lower Prices!
Our markup rate, the amount that we charge on every order, has been lowered for the first time in years!
It's dropped from 14% to 9%, barely more than the tax rate.
We have worked so hard to lower our prices. This is a huge deal for us, and there will be more about this in the coming weeks.
But for now, just keep in mind that everything you order from us or pick up in the store is 5% cheaper than it used to be!

Save on Shipping
We get free shipping from all of our regular vendors. Notably, this includes Invitrogen, Qiagen, Agilent, and Sigma-Aldrich. So if you order through us, you save the shipping costs as well. This means that if your order is less than $600, it's worth checking with us to find out your total cost.
Deciding on the right way to order something can be a complicated process--but we try to make it easier for you. ONLINE ORDERING!!!
Now you can order online with the new online order form, which makes it so that, when you want to order something, instead of having to fill out a Word document, and then attach that to an email, you can just order it online. Also, our website looks better now we think. All props and complaints go to Dylan Ogden (who is freaking awesome).

Fermentas FastDigest Enzymes
Normal enzymatic digestion takes around 20 minutes. These FastDigest enzymes work in just 5 minutes! Don't you want to digest DNA faster?! Why not?! Anyway, we have them, and now you know we have them. Have a nice day.
