L PLATES

version one:

1. to 500ml L-broth add 7.5g agar
   
2. autoclave and pour plates
   Sticky note:
   5g tryptone
   2.5g Y.E.
   2.5g NaCl
   --------------pH
   7.5g agar
   add up to 500mL
   make in 1L bottle with stirbar
   

version two:

10g tryptone
5g yeast extract
5g sodium chloride

1. bring up to 900 ml with H₂O
   
2. adjust pH to 7.4 with NaOH
   
3. add 15g agar
   
4. bring to 1l with H₂O
   
5. autoclave for 20 minutes
   
6. cool and pour
