MCBcDNA Presents DOPE Night

Unsure of your future? Considering dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, and/or nursing but want more info about the professions? Look no further than our collaborative DOPE Night (Dentistry, Optometry, Pharmacy, and Nursing Event) on Thursday, April 19 from 7-9 pm in 223 Dwinelle!

DOPE Night (co-hosted by multiple pre-professional student organizations here at Cal) provides students with the opportunity to learn about other career options in the fields of dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, and nursing! Helpful representatives from each profession and a student panel will be on-site to share their unique experiences and expert advice. Come get useful resources for further exploration of these careers and learn how to get ahead!

DOPE Night is open to all students, and there will be *FREE PIZZA*! :)

MCBcDNA Presents MCAT Night (3/8)!

Interested in taking the MCAT, but don't know where to start? Overwhelmed by the notoriously challenging test and how to study for it? Come to MCBcDNA's MCAT Night and Prep Course Auction on Thursday, March 8 from 7-9pm in 223 Dwinelle! We will have representatives from Kaplan and Princeton Review on hand to talk about what exactly the MCAT requires and how to prepare, as well as a panel of experienced students who have taken the MCAT there to share their personal preparation tips. MCBcDNA will also be offering both a Kaplan AND a Princeton Review MCAT Prep Course for silent auction, starting at just $1000! Note that these courses are usually valued at *~$2000* so this is a *major* discount! Free food will also be provided, so come one, come all!

There are two parts to the application:

  2. Complete and submit both the electronic and hard copies of the short answer portion

The application deadline is 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2011. The form and both copies of the short answer portion must be received by this time; no exceptions will be made. You will receive an email confirming the reception of your application by 12:00 AM on February 2.

  • Applicant Interviews will be Saturday, February 4 from 10am-2pm @FSM Patio

MCBcDNA Presents: Interview, Personal Statement, Résumé Night (11/17)

Want to ace your med/grad school interviews? Or to craft great personal statements for applications? Or to have a resume that absolutely *sparkles*!? Then come to MCBcDNA's Interview, Personal Statement, Résumé (IPSR) Night on Thursday, November 17th from 7-9pm in 229 Dwinelle! We'll be featuring a number of qualified speakers from on campus advising organizations as well as a panel of experienced undergrads all available for questions and small group coaching on interview presence, personal statement composition, and résumé form and function! And, of course, free food is just another of the many perks of an MCBcDNA event! Please join us for this fun and highly beneficial event!

MCBcDNA's MCAT Night: Thursday October 13th from 7-9pm

Then you should make your way to MCBcDNA's MCAT Night, this Thursday (10/13) from 7-9pm in 141 Giannini! Not only will we be hosting representatives from Kaplan and Princeton Review to talk about the MCAT (preparation, layout, scheduling,etc) and undergrads who have already taken the MCAT sharing their war stories, but we will also be offering both a Kaplan AND a Princeton Review MCAT Prep Course for silent auction, starting at $1000! MCAT Night - Wednesday, March 31 @ 7pm in 60 Evans

Thinking of going to med school?
Several MCAT prep course programs are invited to this event to give talks about the process of applying to med school and how the MCAT fits into the general scheme of things.

We will be auctioning off TWO Princeton Review courses and ONE Kaplan course, courtesy of Princeton Review and Kaplan, respectively.
