Discussion Syllabus

100 out of 500 possible points in the course are allotted to discussion. Here is the point breakdown for discussion:

• Quizzes: 60 points -- There will be 6 quizzes, 12 points each, the lowest grade will be dropped
• Written seminar assignment: 20 points
  • Guidelines for the written assignment
  • Suggested Papers For Writing Assignment 
• Participation and oral presentation: 20 points

QUIZZES

There are no make-ups for quizzes.

There will be different versions of each quiz given. There will be 6 quizzes worth 12 points each; the lowest grade will be dropped.

• Quiz 1 -- January 24/25 - Answers were discussed already
• Quiz 2 -- February 7/8 - Section 101 Section 102
• Quiz 3 -- February 28/29 Section 101 Section 102
• Quiz 4 -- March 13/14
• Quiz 5 -- April 10/11
• Quiz 6 -- April 24/25
