5/28/08   Answer key for final exam

5/27/08   Letter grades have been submitted to eGrades, but might not be available on BearFacts until Wednesday, May 28.

5/26/08   Regraded 3rd midterm scores and final exam scores are now posted in the bSpace Gradebook.  3rd midterms may be picked up in LSA 241.  Final exams are available for viewing in LSA 241, but may not be taken away.  Letter grades should be available on BearFacts some time on Tuesday, May 27.

5/20/08   Amended 3rd midterm answer key (MS Word file).   In question 2a, Part 3 (p. 5), the displayed answer for CIn was correct, but the calculation mistakenly showed the value for PUrea where the value for PIn should have been.

MCB 236

A graduate course, MCB 236 (CCN: 59656), involves the same lectures and exams as 136, but replaces the discussion section with a weekly seminar (TBA) in which primary research literature in various areas of physiology is examined.  It is limited to 10 students and provides 5 units of graduate credit.  Any non-lecture topics covered in the 136 discussion sections will also be presented in the 236 seminar.

Textbook:

Human Physiology, 4th ed. — Dee Silverthorn

A Course Reader (soft-bound, ~400 pages), considered necessary for the course, will be available (at Copy Central, 48 Shattuck Square) on January 22 for about $25.  It follows the lectures more closely than the main textbook and takes a more quantitative approach to the topics.
