BIOLOGY 1A & 1AL

SUMMER SESSION 2009

ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

Repeating Enrollment in Summer

Since you answered "YES" to the preceeding question, you are classified as a repeating enrollment student. As a repeating enrollment student, you would have low priority for enrollment in the classes in the Fall or Spring semesters.

During the Summer Session, repeating enrollment students do not have low priority if they have not passed (C- or better) one or both classes and require passing grades in both for graduation.

If you have not passed one of the two classes:

You may enroll in only the one class without enrolling in the other.

If you have not passed either class:

You are required to enroll in both classes simultaneously when enrolling in the Summer Session. If you were to try to enroll in Fall or Spring, you would not be required to take the classes simultaneously, but you must do so in Summer.

If the above 2 cases fit your description, click here to continue to the enrollment instructions.

If you have completed and passed Bio 1A without taking 1AL because of an exemption from Simultaneous enrollment by major:

Should try to enroll in 1AL, you will have the lowest priority for enrollment even in the Summer Session. You may add to the waiting list, but you cannot be enrolled unless it is confirmed that there is space in the class. This confirmation will not be possible until the first week of classes. Click here to continue.

If you have already passed one of both classes with a C- or better grade:

If you wish to enroll again to improve your grade, this is possible, but you will have low priority for enrollment. You may add to the waiting list, but you cannot be enrolled unless it is confirmed that there is space in the class(es). This confirmation will not be possible until the first week of classes.
