Serving the entire UC Berkeley campus, we carry an extensive selection of chemicals, enzymes, labware, and office supplies. Our mission is to provide the lowest possible prices on frequently used items.
We carry a large variety of items from select vendors, many of whom offer us special pricing and discounts, which we pass on to our valued customers.
We can place special orders for items we do not stock from any of our vendors. Please fill out an order form and email to bkstockroom@mcb.berkeley.edu or drop off in person at 1 Barker Hall.

Cal Planners The UC Bookstore has been selling academic-year planners for years. We like them a lot--they have specific Cal-related information, nice clean layout, and useful stickers for planning projects, apointments, and study time. So we undertook to sell them ourselves. They're available both here and at the LSA Storerooms, and they're worth a look. (9/3/09)
NEB High Fidelity Samplers--Free! We got a dozen of these high-fidelity samplers from NEB about a month ago, and to our surprise we still have most of them. This surprises us because we're giving them away for free.
Most HF enzymes work in NEBuffer 4 (included in the sampler), which apparently makes them good for double digestion. The sampler includes 400 units of each enzyme, and it's free. Did we mention it was free? (8/11/09)

Fermentas FastDigest Enzymes Normal enzymatic digestion takes around 20 minutes. These FastDigest enzymes work in just 5 minutes! Don't you want to digest DNA faster?! Why not?! Anyway, we have them, and now you know we have them. Have a nice day. (7/18/09)
