MCB Storerooms
Serving the entire UC Berkeley campus, the Department has two large, self-serve storerooms in Barker Hall and LSA, our mission is to provide the lowest possible prices on frequently used items.
We carry a large variety of items from select vendors, many of whom offer us special pricing and discounts, including free shipping, which we pass on to our valued customers. We sell most standard reagents, enzymes, glassware, lab and office supplies, and purification kits. Vendors include Fisher, New England Biolabs, Invitrogen, Qiagen, and Office Max, among others. While selection on hand varies slightly by location, items may be transferred between locations. We will happily place special orders for items we do not stock from our list of vendors.
New accounts can be set up easily with a chartstring; no cash is exchanged.
