In the fall of 2002 the Department initiated the biannual MCB Recognition and Reward program. The intent of the biannual Staff Award of Recognition is to recognize MCB Career Staff for excellence in one or more of the following areas:  Mentorship, Team Work, Resourcefulness, Job Efficiency, Performance Above Job Requirements and Customer Service.

Any MCB employee, supervisor, manager, faculty member, etc., can make nominations, but only staff are eligible to win.  [Supervisors and managers are not eligible for the award.]  The names of the nominees and a random drawing for awards will occur twice a year at the annual departmental Fourth the July celebration and the Winter Party in December.
